DYR Weekend Camps
2023 events are posted on the Calendar page.
Youth camps cost approximately $175 per camper.
Youths ages 7-17 years old may attend our camps.
Older teens may be considered for a volunteer position if they attend the mandatory volunteer training in the spring and are cleared by Pastor Corilee. We are also always looking for positive, caring adults to come on board as volunteers during camp. Please contact us with any interest. There are many roles, other than working with the horses, to fill.

It is so important for young people to understand just how much God loves them! At Destiny Youth Ranch, campers will learn about God's amazing grace and his beautiful creation, the horse, in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
Our horses are here for their use and enjoyment. We will teach basic horsemanship skills, ground work, safety, and grooming, to set a foundation for their future with equines--whether they have horses back home or if they just wish to visit the ranch again later to help us out!

Those interested in attending should have a teachable heart and enjoy spending time with horses.
What they'll learn is very basic and meant to encourage safety and fun with these beautiful creatures.

Our days include: worship time, teaching/speakers, crafts, games, campfires, and, of course, lots of time with the horse they are paired with for the weekend. We have anywhere from 30-40 kids attending camps, so kids will be separated into smaller groups. Be sure to specify if there is someone in particular that they would like to be paired with. You do everything with your group: ride, eat, sleep, etc.
Boys and girls bunk in separate buildings during co-ed camps. They also have a different set of counselors.

DYR held their first youth camp on August 14-16, 2009.
We had a great weekend of fellowship, fun, and sharing the hope that is found in Jesus Christ. There were only 9 campers TOTAL that weekend, but we still had a great time and have been growing and growing every since!
