We have been blessed with some special horses. Each horse is as unique as the young girls and boys who come to ride them. We consider them our "equine counselors". Many of our horses were donated to the ranch. We started this ministry as an equine rescue and rehab. (These horses ARE NOT for sale.)
Our horses have access to over 50 acres of pasture with natural streams & trees for shade.
DYR-Fun Facts
In 2009 we had a total of 9 campers at our first girls youth camp.
In 2010 we had a total of 29 girls at three youth camps, a two-day work camp with about 10 teen-agers and about 45 women at two womens retreats! A total of 84 campers in 2010.
In 2011 we had two one-day camps (14 kids at each camp), four 3-day girls camps ( a total of 66 girls), two womens retreats (a total of 44 in attendance) and one-one day work camp with 6 teens/young adults in attendance. We also did some family/group trail rides, a family fun day and have had 10-15 volunteers riding per camp! We have had 175-200 kids/campers in 2011.
