Brittany has been riding horses since she was a little girl. She loves horses and enjoys working with the young horses! She does a great job of tuning up and breaking horses at the ranch and helping anywhere we need her! She recently graduated from West Lyon High School and will be working for the ranch full-time.

About Carrie:
I have been riding horse since I was old enough to sit up on my own. I have always had a great passion for horses and their natural beauty and grace. They are the perfect best friend because they always keep my secrets and I can always talk to them and they always listen. When I was seven, I got bucked off for the first time and broke my arm. It took me a long time to get the courage to ride again, but it has definately made me a stronger rider today. During high school, I competed in Iowa High School Rodeo where I participated in breakaway and team roping, barrel racing, pole bending, and cutting. I still barrel race every time a get a chance and also rope. I have a few accomplishments in my rodeo career so far and really hope to add to it. I was the 2007 Bold Heart Open 1D champion, The 2004 Team Penning Youth Champion, and the 2005 Horse Haven Barrel Racing Champion. I also finished 16th in the state of Iowa out of 65 in the Barrel Racing. Considering my barrel horse was given to me by my Grandpa, and has never had professional Barrel Training, I have never been more proud of an accomplishment. Today, I am still competing in barrel racing all around the area, I am currently attending Iowa State University for my degree in Animal Science with hopes of going on to Veterinary School.
